Yesterday I told my wife to eat guava instead of apples; it is more suitable. My wife laughed and said, “An apple a day keeps the doctor away,” and then I laughed out loud. But you know all the people, especially Asian idiots who are brainwashed, only follow this trend because they think that just because it’s said by white people, that means it’s scientifically proven.
ORIGIN OF THE APHORISM
The aphorism, “An apple a day keeps the doctor away,” originated in Wales, first appearing in a publication in 1866 in a different rhyming format: “Eat an apple on going to bed and you’ll keep the doctor from earning his bread.” The saying reappeared in 1913 in its current form.
WHY DID THAT APHORISM BECOME THE SLOGAN AND TAGLINE OF ALL PLANT-BASED INDUSTRIES AND FARMERS? ESPECIALLY THOSE WHO ARE IN THE AGRICULTURE OF APPLES.
The first reason: (Just a view)
- Because of the shoddy nature of medical practise in the 19th and 20th centuries, the public rationally tried to keep doctors and other health professionals at a distance. This sentiment might still be valid in the 21st century. The apple has become a symbol of health and wellness over time, and both public and private health organisations have used it to represent lifestyle decisions that promote wellness.
The second reason: (The Real reason)
- The climate of Europe is not good for many crops that we usually find in tropical climates. So this is a very simple and straightforward marketing strategy for marketing their own local farms. Just say that apples are divine fruit for their health and that they are the best fruit, and you will see that most people will buy them without checking every detail about apples.
- Export of Europe Apples were the most commonly produced fruit in the EU in terms of quantity, with 12.5 million tonnes harvested in 2016 (or almost 25 kg per EU inhabitant). Tomatoes were the main vegetable grown (18.5 million tons, or 36 kg per EU inhabitant)
THERE ARE SOME FRUITS/VEG THAT ARE CALLED THE BEST FOR HEALTH AND CAN GROW MOSTLY IN COLD CLIMATES ONLY?
- Apples. …
- Kiwi. …
- Strawberries. …
- Grapes. …
- Plum. Etc
- And you know, among these, the apple is always considered the best fruit because Europe produces most of it, and Europe cannot eat it in the local market, so they have to sell it in the foreign market.
- And one more thing: if you look at the list of best fruits, most of these fruits are those that you can grow in the European climate, but in reality, this is absolutely wrong. It’s a simple marketing strategy.
Now I explain that there are many fruits that are far better than apples in terms of their macronutrients, micronutrients, and mineral contents. Take the example of apples and guavas.
VITAMIN COMPARISON– APPLE VS GUAVA
The amount of vitamins that determine which food is richer in each vitamin is the basis for the vitamin comparison score. The “coverage” charts that follow illustrate the percentage of the daily requirements that can be met by 300 grams of food.

Guava
Contains more Vitamin A +1055.6%
Contains more Vitamin E +305.6%
Contains more Vitamin C +4863%

MINERAL COMPARISON
The amount of minerals that make one food more mineral-rich than the other determines the score for mineral comparison. The “coverage” charts that follow illustrate the percentage of the daily requirements that can be met by 300 grams of food.

OTHER BENEFITS OF GUAVA:
Immune System: Apples have less vitamin C than guavas. One of nature’s immune system builders is vitamin C. Additionally rich in beta-carotene and folate, guavas help the body produce Vitamin A, which is vital for boosting immunity, especially during the cold and flu season.
Cardiovascular Health: Vitamin C-rich foods can reduce the risk of heart disease. Guavas are especially high in this nutrient. Strong fibrinolytic and antioxidant qualities are possessed by vitamin C. Additionally, it increases the excretion of cholesterol through the bile and decreases low-density cholesterol.
Guava fruit and leaf tea have been shown in other trials to have hypotensive and hypoglycemic properties. Elevated blood lipid levels can also be significantly lowered by guava fruit eating.
Cancer: Because guava fruit extract has such a high polyphenol and flavonoid content, it has been shown to suppress brain-derived metastatic prostate cancer. Guavas may therefore be utilised in conjunction with other treatments for certain types of malignancies. Through the inhibition of a signalling pathway, the hexane fraction of guava leaves has also been shown to cause anticancer activity in human prostate cancer.
Diabetes : Guava leaf extracts have been shown in numerous trials to have antihyperglycemic, antihyperidiabetic, and antihyperlipidemic properties. The inhibition of protein tyrosine phosphatase 1B, which has the ability to act as a negative regulator of insulin and leptin signal transduction, may be the cause of this impact. All things considered, individuals with type 2 diabetes mellitus should drink guava leaf tea.
So now everyone will have to say
“Guava/Mango a day keeps the doctor away
Thank you so much for the real knowledge with big value, Great Master. It helps us to save money to buy expensive, imported apple. I can use guava instead of it. Guava is the fruit that has far better vitamin and mineral than apple. Otherwise, it is local fruit with very cheap price.
thank you dear
